About our Guest: Ted JordanÂ
After completing his degree at U.C Berkeley where he learned UNIX programming, Mr. Ted Jordan, M.S, LPI, CEH started his career at General Motors and built a Driving Simulator. Mr. Jordan also set up access for high-security projects.
His career later took him to Silicon Graphics, CAVE Virtual Reality Systems, and SUN Microsystems where he built virtual reality rooms and set up security access.
Mr. Jordan works as an Ethical Hacker and Cybersecurity Trainer for the U.S Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Mr. Jordan contributes to the Open Source community including LibreOffice, OpenOffice, Free Software Foundation, Wikipedia, and others. Mr. Jordan also partners with communities to teach STEM to kids.
Mr. Jordan is the author of The Linux+ Certification Exam Guide published by McGraw-Hill, Study Guides for LPIC-1 Exam 101 & Exam 102 published by O’Reilly, and Technical Editor of CompTIA Linux+/LPIC-1 Cert Guide: (Exams LX0-103 & LX0-104/101-400 & 102-400) published by Pearson IT Certification.
Mr. Jordan enjoys tennis, golf, and singing karaoke in his spare time.
